For the pro-active customers that want to have top notch roof care and wish to reduce harmful ice build up from occurring, we provide a preventative service called Heat Tape Installation. Heat Tape can lower annual maintenance costs and may extend the life of your roof.
When heat escapes from our homes and melts the snow on top of our roofs, the resulting water may not drain properly. If the water cannot drain off the roof during winter months, it may freeze and create ice dams. Water becomes trapped behind a dam of ice creating a stagnant reservoir of water directly overhead. This standing body of water finds its way through the roof, into the wall cavities and into your living space.
We are the first line of defense against a roof leak. Our goal is to stop the leak in its tracks. When we show up, we assess the problem area, identify the source of the leak, safely and carefully climb up onto the roof and remove the snow, ice and water that is fueling the leak.
A roof/ceiling leak is considered an emergency service and must be handled immediately. A leak in the ceiling can result in interior/structural damage, costly roof repairs and possibly replacing part or all of the roof. In addition, toxic mold can form in the walls and create an uninhabitable environment.

In the winter, heat escapes from the roof and melts the snow. Then, the water runs down the roof and freezes along the gutter. Over time, the ice builds up higher onto the roof. There are many reasons why this excess water cannot drain properly including: clogged gutters, poor insulation, structural design limitations, lack of heat tape or other preventative measures.
It’s always different on every building, which is why each job needs to be addressed individually by a professional technician. We survey the area, plan accordingly, and remove 99% of the ice and icicles – in a safe and efficient manner. From there, we develop a plan with the customer’s budget constraints in mind to either solve or keep this problem in check throughout the winter.

Roof snow removal can be an emergency service – as in the case of a roof leak, or it can be a routine maintenance service. In both situations, we are here to help. Our fully insured, rope access professionals can remove the snow quickly, affordably and safely – with utmost care and respect for the condition of your property.
With fluctuating Colorado temperatures, a buildup of snow can lead to water and ice dams on the roof that may cause roof/ceiling leakage. Additionally, large amounts of snow on the roof can lead to avalanching on people or property presenting liability problems for property owners.
Debris from nearby trees, eroding shingles, storm debris, critter remains, etc. can clot gutters and prevent winter snow melt from escaping the rooftop. This could lead to problems in the winter-time including: ice dam formation, roof leaks, etc.
Depending on the roof, we may pressure wash or remove the grime by hand. Additionally, down spouts may need to be unclogged. We suggest gutter cleaning to be scheduled once per year in the spring/summer as a maintenance and preventative service.
Roof access during the winter and chainsaw operation is most safely done by a professional. Our experienced technicians have specialty rope access equipment and the machinery necessary to get the job done quickly and safely.
Heat Tape is a protected, heated wire that is installed into gutters and on problem areas along the roof line. They maintain a small amount of heat to prevent build up of ice and allow snow melt to run-off more easily. Heat Tape helps to prevent ice dam build up and protect the home from roof leaks.
When budget permits, we suggest installing Heat Tape as a preventative measure to keep your roof in good shape & extend the life of your roof.
